VIP SURF BRUNCH Meeting surf friends from everywhere does not happen too often, that's why the brunch is the perfect occasion to spend some time together enjoying the exclusive events of the Tiki Room! We are offering a different buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 12pm. Coffee is included with free refill. |
TIKI DRINKS Ungawa! was the pioneer of tiki bars in Italy and a reference for cool music. Since it joined Surfer Joe in Livorno we have continued this experience with the same energy in our Tiki Room. The tiki culture is well known as "the art of drinking" and so we are glad to offer some tiki cocktails at our bar. Besides the classic Mai Tai do not miss to try our original drinks: WIPEOUT, SURFER GROG and ITALIAN ZOMBIE. |

TIKI CARVING After a few years, tiki carvers have become a steady presence at the festival. A group of artists transforming pieces of wood into statues and artefacts during the time of the event. Everybody is free to admire the craftsmenship and ask questions about their techniques, it's simply amazing! RESTAURANTS At the Surfer Joe Diner and Food Truck you can find a large menu including burgers, salads, finger food, meals and sweets. There are veggie and vegan friendly offers too. The kitchen will be open from 10.00 to 1.00 no-stop during the festival days. Please be advised that it will NOT be possible to reserve a table. And remember... we are open in Lucca too! About 45 min from Livorno, Lucca is a very nice town with lots of history and certainly it's a great tourist attraction in Tuscany. VIP DON DIEGO presents "Country & Rockabilly VS Surf" Diego is a great country and rockabilly player from Italy. Always on tour with his band in Europe and USA, he has become a steady support for many legendary musicians in the scene. Also Diego is involved in several educational projects and has an alternative surf band line-up called THE COGUAROS, so he will illustrate the technical differences between surf and other guitar styles. Get in touch with Don Diego via Facebook VIP SURF MUSIC IN ITALY People ask if in Italy there has ever been surf music and the answer is certainly yes! Before and after Pulp Fiction many surf bands were formed and some are still very strong now. White Seed is writing a book about this and he has been collecting detailed information for years. We will go through this and compare the local scene with the rest of Europe and USA. Formed by members of the local 90s band The Pipelines, they will perform 3 semi-acoustic sets in the garden.  SURFING VS SURF MUSIC Why did surfing and surf music split in 1963? What has changed in the attitude of the surfers from the 50s? It's interesting for one time to see who the surfers are and how their lifestyle has influenced the music. LUCA BATTISTINI is a local surfer and a musician, also he is involved in various activities around surfing. He will host an open discussion about this subject analysing sport, music and movies industries from the 50s to present day.  |
VIP The Art of STEPHEN BLICKENSTAFF Meet & greet with this great artists from USA who will tell his story and showcase artworks done throughout the many years of activity: free illustrations, posters and album covers. Stephen is the master of monsters! Facebook / Instagram  VIP SPAGHETTI WESTERN Join us for this Spaghetti Western afternoon, let's see the history of this sub-genre so much loved and discussed! FABIO MEINI is almost an "authority" in this, a well-known Italian researcher and cinema fan. He will guide us through images and sounds, listening to the main recordings that created the myth.
