 Fender Italy In Collaboration With Sj Summer Festival Fender Italy - M. Casale Bauer - supported with great success the SurferJoe Summer Festival and the Wadadli Riders tour with Daddy-O Grande. A big THANKS to the company for providing the stage backline, everything went very well and amps were great as usual.

Surferjoe Summer Festival 2008 Well, ok, mmm..., there is so much to say to thank all of you who participate to this event that has been definitely a great success! Many people, lots of good fans, excellent exhibitions, fantastic sponsors and... increbile music.
We are working on building a new page to describe all the event in details, showcase photos and videos and collect comments.
Now we just say THANK YOU, more coming on the next days...  • Comments (7) Sound Of The Surf This is a great project: it is the first documentary/movie about the history of SURF MUSIC. The film includes exclusive interviews to people like Rachard Delvy, Bob Berryhill, Jim Fuller, Bob Spicakard, Paul Johnson, Eddie Bertand, Dick Dale, Brian Wilson and more. This will be a nice Christmas gift for next year!!! The documentary is supposed to be released in 2008, we will provide more details soon. You can also check out www.soundofthesurf.com.
Here's the part even more interesting.
The Sound of the Surf crew will be present at the SurferJoe Summer Festival. Yes true, the festival will be filmed and parts of it will be included in the movie. Moreover the "godfather" of this movie (John Blair) will be there, available for interviews and to provide further information about the project.

This is an anticipation to a full album probably available from next December/January. Check out the jukebox now for a demo of the EP.
The EP includes Hurricane Season, a song that takes inspiration from Antigua and his Caribbean location (!), Tetsuwan Atomu, a nice revisited version of the main theme of the Japanese character Astroboy, and Brown Recluse, an energetic and brilliant surfin' instumental.

Fred Lammers: What A Designer !! Fred Lammer, designer from Norway specialized in 60s graphics, has realized the artwork for the SJ Summer Festival. We want to express our immense appreciation for the work done, absolutely amazing! Lots of potential in the hands of this guy that we had the pleasure to know personally to the fest.
